Jordan has taught a range of conducting students, from elective courses in summer orchestra camps, to private instruction of post-graduate students, and has mentored many young conductors.

Jordan was a fantastic conducting teacher. He set realistic and clear goals for each lesson. In his lessons, he was friendly, professional and excellent at explaining the concepts in an approachable fashion. He covered everything from diverse repertoire, to orchestral instrument tendencies, to the physical motions used and more. I feel that not only do I now have a greater ability to conduct, but also that the conducting has helped my ensemble playing as well.
